I believe most people want to learn how to do better and that the process should be a positive experience. I am committed to working with those who are genuinely curious and eager to reframe how they approach organizational culture, leadership, community, interpersonal relationships, and collaborations when it comes to equity, anti-racism, and social justice.
Rather than reinforcing the assumption that “learning is uncomfortable” or brings up “difficult feelings,” the core of my philosophy is that seeing ourselves and others more clearly should be energizing and exciting. Learning how to work together and create a more just world should leave us feeling inspired, motivated, and committed. If we are defensive or overwhelmed, we aren’t starting from the right place or learning the right things.
I provide original content, resources, support, and an engaging process to facilitate fun and dynamic spaces that break down difficult issues, clarify problems, and make new connections that foster deeper learning for those committed to real transformation. By embodying the values and practices that inform my own work, my approach is unlike traditional DEI trainings. It’s provocative, playful, and candid – you’ve never met a philosopher like me!
I bring my authentic self to every space and create conditions for others to reflect, learn, be vulnerable, and feel confident about producing equitable outcomes. Elevating the conversation and expanding critical understanding while building community and capacity to develop concrete practices together is my preferred way forward.
