Learning Healing and How to Buy Me A Coffee

While my blog has been rather quite over here on *this* website, I have been writing in other places over the past several months. Part of the challenge has been figuring out where to write what, and then how to share it, because I somehow fell victim to the strange idea that “professional” things need to sound a certain way and/or be about specific things.

Presumably, because this website is where I have information about Positive Philosophy Consulting (even with a domain that is my literal name), it somehow shifted into being a space for more-professional-things, whereas vulnerable, authentic, raw, and personal content got displaced to live somewhere else. But that split sucks, and I’ve never been very fond of compartmentalizing. It doesn’t suit my politics or my personality. It doesn’t even fit my approach to consulting, but that’s a matter for another post on another day.

Given my creative outputs have scattered, particularly over the past couple years, there’s a lot of catching up to do if I hope to keep things updated here. I may not summarize all the happenings I’ve missed, but let this be a start.

A while ago, I created a profile on Buy Me A Coffee where I’ve been writing more personal reflections with an intention to share other creative projects and post downloadable pieces. The platform is glitchy in a way that somehow matches its nonchalant and casual aesthetic of a friendly space for offering care and generous support. I like it because it feels more personal than transactional. At least, that’s how it feels to me.

My most recent endeavor has been, “Learning Healing.” It’s a whole project now because it evolved to include a handwritten transcription of journal entries that became a book onto itself, as well as a digital version that looks like a pdf of poetry and prose. And then, I recorded a podcast episode of Meta Level Love. See? A whole project.

Rather than excessively repeating myself across platforms and in various places, I guess my approach these days will be to shift to a series of cross-referencing links upon links. In the spirit of following internet rabbit trails, then, please feel free to take a trip through a few clicks to explore my Buy Me a Coffee page and learn a more about Learning Healing.
